Residential Swing Gates

Primarily single family properties that require minimum security level but wish to prevent vehicles from entering the property through its driveway without authorization.

Please note: Automated gates are intended for vehicles only. Separate pedestrian access is required.

United Fence recommends dual swing gates (8’ each) to create a 16’ wide entry automated by mechanical screw drive operators with built in battery backup feature.

Base Equipment List

• Gates: 2 – 8’ wide single leafs in a complimentary design for the property

• Operators: 1 pr of gate operator arms & mounting hardware

• Keyed or lever release system for manual operation

• Control Panel: Weather resistant box with electronic controls for operators

• Contact Safety Device: Internal or external device to detect obstructions
  in gate travel on contact

• Non-Contact Safety: Photo eyes to detect obstructions across gate
  closure prior to contact

Activation Equipment

• Radio transmitter (handheld or keychain) & receiver to initiate open and or close cycle

• Timer to close: Automatic closing after timed period (generally built onto the control panel of operators)

Optional Advanced Equipment

• Digital Keypad for entry with up to 480 individual input codes

• Intercom communication exterior and interior stations with chime to call base in home

• Telephone intercom communication system for remote operation through resident phones

• Telephone/Modem dedicated line connection for system programming and monitoring by PC or off site telephone calls

• Digital 24/7 Timer to activate gate system on predefined schedule

• Emergency Vehicle Entry: Siren or Strobe activated opening of gate system

• Vehicle detection loop or probe for activating (free exit) or deactivating gate on vehicle detection
